Studies of Swans is one of my experiments in the narrative. It is an incident of misremembering a well-remembered photograph retold from its periphery. I create my own “collection” of “studies” of swan objects as a result of the obsessive reiteration of the image. The alternate image of swans and the textual description of a swan boat run across all of the seven distinct objects. The pieces of information include the cognitive association of shape (spoon on a plate), the learning card as a preschool educational tool for literacy and image recognition, existing instructions on materially “making” from a specific image (cross-stitch and origami,) to the fictional postcard as the ‘excavated’ souvenir of an uncertain event in the park. Subtly interrupting the normal order of each of the objects, the dissonance of texts and images can only be ‘read’ and barely be ‘seen’.

对于一艘天鹅船的回忆之具体以至于在其出现被像素证伪后依旧明晰。七件不同的“伪造”物件仅仅,而又全部因包含天鹅的图像与描述“天鹅船”的文字联系。
