their small space, 2022
Six inkjet prints on paper

My fingers remember where the letters are on the keyboard, but I hesitate to answer “yes.” I turned towards the best-known pangram — a sentence that includes all of the 26 alphabets — for guidance. “A quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox,” I typed with my fingers over a blank screen and traced back the points of contact between the two. The arrangement of the letters that appear in the process, therefore, maps out the small space they occupy in my body’s memory.
在空白的触控屏幕上打出全字母短句然后回溯指尖敲过的位置,这是身体记忆视角的二十六个字母的位置。
